Video: 946, The Bloodline, Carmelo Hayes

Cold Open: Last week on Raw, The Bloodline and The 946 finally did battle. After a wild brawl that spilled across the arena, Carmelo Hayes aligned himself with 946 by attacking The Bloodline with a crowbar.

Parking Garage: Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn

A black SUV drives into the garage, and out steps Roman Reigns. A stagehand gives him his World Heavyweight Championship as another car drives in. Out steps Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn. Reigns looks confused to see him.

In-Ring: Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns, Penta

A jovial Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn heads to the ring in sunglasses and looking supremely confident.

At Crown Jewel on November 7, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will battle Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

The crowd loudly boos Zayn as he stands in the ring, confusing the champion. Zayn says he hears the noise and sees we’ve got some haters in the house. How many people here tonight came to ride or die with the last real good guy? It doesn’t sound like many did.

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns interrupts Zayn and makes his long entrance to the ring. After a few minutes and a lot of pyrotechnics, Reigns takes a microphone and walks around the ring. A loud “OTC” chant picks up. Reigns stares at his former Honorary Uce from The Bloodline. Reigns says he didn’t think he’d be saying this, and that he might be the only one, but it’s good to see Zayn. Zayn smiles and embraces Reigns. Zayn says he couldn’t feel more the same. He’s been wanting to call and text him to let him know he understands what it means to be champion. The burden… Reigns says he knows Zayn was listening. Zayn says he gets the burden, as well as the disrespect. Reigns says it comes from every angle. Zayn says he didn’t get it before, but he gets it now.

Reigns says they’re skipping a step before saying, “San Diego… acknowledge me!” A LOUD “OTC” chant fires up. Zayn says it feels like old times, like nothing has changed. Zayn says he thinks about the old times a lot. Reigns says this is his show, but he has an opportunity for Zayn. Some might even call it a favor. Zayn looks confused. Reigns says they were just talking about how tough the burden was to handle. Everybody wants the title, but that’s not even the most important title Zayn has. The most important title he’s ever had is “Honorary Uce.” Reigns’ question is if we’re here to discuss these titles or The 946. Is Zayn here out of greed or out of love to serve The Bloodline?

An “Ucey” chant picks up. Zayn says his time in The Bloodline was some of the best of his life and career. They’re family, and that doesn’t go away. Reigns should appreciate this more than anybody. Zayn is the head of his own table on SmackDown. Zayn has to do things his way because he’s the Undisputed WWE Champion. Reigns looks frustrated before smirking. Reigns says Zayn has a title. Reigns has the title. Zayn says for 1,400 days, his title was the A Title and Reigns’ was the B Title. Now it’s flipped? Maybe it’s the arrogance of the man holding the title. Reigns says maybe it has nothing to do with the title at all and more about the man holding the title. Reigns says, “Maybe that title hasn’t meant shit since WrestleMania 40.” The World Heavyweight Championship is the title now! An “OTC” chant picks up.

Zayn says they’re not going to act like the WWE Championship is one of the hardest things on earth to win, but he did it. They’re not going to minimize Zayn’s achievement. This title is one in a billion. There are 8 billion people on the planet, but only one is the WWE Champion, and you’re looking at him. Zayn says he’s so disappointed because this is not how he wanted things to go at all. Zayn respects Reigns. He’s family. Zayn didn’t want this to go down like this. What feels more disrespectful than the words he’s saying is that Reigns is standing there two weeks before their match at Crown Jewel like he’s not sweating Zayn. Like Zayn isn’t a threat. Reigns knows what type of threat Zayn can pose. Zayn says he’s underappreciated.

Reigns says he knows exactly who Zayn is. If he’s being honest, looking at Zayn’s track record, he might not even have the title by the time they get to Crown Jewel. Reigns drops the microphone and walks off.

As Reigns begins walking up the aisle, he’s interrupted by Mr. Money in the Bank, Penta! Penta struts his way down the ramp and holds up the briefcase in front of Reigns. Penta then walks past Reigns and gets into the ring with Zayn. Penta poses as Zayn leaves. Penta battles Bron Breakker next.
