As previously reported, WWE cut Brodus Clay amidst their spring cleaning today. TMZ reports that Clay is heading to Japan with the admirable goal of protesting the hunting of dolphins. Clay told the site that he booked a trip to Japan this summer and will protest the practice, a cause he became passionate about after seeing the documentary The Cove.
Clay told the site that he’s “bummed” about losing his job but is excited to do other things including more acting and writing a book. He said he’s open to working in Japan but that his main focus on the trip is “bringing awareness to the cause.”
By the way, kudos to Brodus for going overseas to try and help with the dolphins. If you’ve guys have seen the media reports about what they do to those poor dolphins and how they are slaughtered, it’s absolutely disgusting.
