Various News: Vladimir Koslov Update, Missy Hyatt, & More

— The Bleacher Report has a new story on where former WWE wrestler Vladimir Koslov. He has changed his name to Alexander Koslov and is wrestling in Japan for Antonio Inoki’s Inoki Genome Federation.

— Missy Hyatt, “The First Lady of Wrestling”, is writing a new book. It will be co-written by former WCW and WWE office worker Dennis Brent. She plans to “set the record straight” in the new book.

— Billy Corgan’s RPro POP program has been honored by the Illinois State Crime Commission. Rolling Stone reports that Corgan, the Smashing Pumpkins frontman who has served as the creative director for Resistance Pro since 2011, was honored with the Jesse White Award for the wrestling outreach program alongside Resistance Pro founders Gabriel Baron and Jacques Baron as well as Sean “C. Red” Young.

The program, which is a part of Resistance Pro, is credited with being a positive outreach program aimed at helping Chicago children and boosting their morale. Young is the creator of the program, with the rest having been deeply involved. Many employees of Resistance Pro are former students and current employees of the Chicago Public School district.
