New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that the company is set to work with Jeff Jarrett’s new Global Force Wrestling promotion. The partnership would reportedly allow Jarrett access to their performers and be a place for Jarrett to send talents he signs to tour in Japan.
Currently, ROH already has a working relationship with NJPW. New Japan is set to feature ROH champion Adam Cole, tag champs reDragon, Michael Bennett, and Maria Kanellis for the promotions upcoming Seibu Dome event in August and possibly additional dates for that tour as well.
GFW talent could eventually replace the ROH talents working with New Japan, or New Japan could work with both promotions. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
