UPDATE x 2: As noted earlier, WWE.com reports that “upon further evaluation,” the company has reinstated Tenille “Emma” Dashwood to her position in the company. They added that they “will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law.”
It’s worth noting that the company was besieged with comments on the initial WWE.com news article announcing her firing by people pointing out the hypocrisy of releasing Emma while keeping Jack Swagger and Cameron, who a couple of years ago had a DUI where she reportedly tried to bribe the police officer. Whether that played a factor or not isn’t known. The news article (which is the same as the above) has had all comments cleared and now cannot be commented upon.
We hope to have more on what happened shortly. Stay tuned.
