TNA will likely have to air their Bound for Glory PPV in Japan on tape. An 8 PM ET start time in the US would mean that TNA would have to start the event at 7 AM Monday morning Tokyo time in order for it to be live.
One source notes that the company taking a risk with their biggest pay-per-view could be a sign that they aren’t making very much money, if any, through pay-per-view. They would be saving money by doing a taped PPV. Wrestle-1 will likely cover production costs for the event, which means TNA’s largest expense will be taking the talent to Japan.
