WWE’s ‘Monday Night Wars’ Update, Director Praises Batista

— WWE did not archive the Monday Night Wars preview episode in the VOD section of the WWE Network after it premiered. Programming always appears in the VOD section after it debuts, but WWE may simply be waiting until the end of the free preview week.

— The Monday Night Wars series will officially debut in August.

— More episodes of Saturday Night’s Main Event will be added to the Network after the free preview week is over. There have also been some musical edits to the old shows.

— Director James Gunn recently praised the work of Dave Batista as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. Here is what he had to say…

“I can’t tell you about how good Dave Bautista is. Like there is nobody in the world who could do what he’s doing in this movie ‘cause Drax has this Shakespearean way in which he speaks and he’s this big broad character, and yet he’s also a very damaged and tender soul and he gets a lot of the funniest lines in the movie. And Dave’s able to do all of that and be a gigantic bald dude. I can’t even see how it’s possible that we found him you know and how that happened.”
