WWE Teases 7.14.14 Date + Early WWE SmackDown #’s

— Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown scored 2.54 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. This is a bounce back from the 1.88 million and 0.5 that the previous week did; that show had suffered because it aired on the Fourth of July. It’s worth mentioning that the numbers are still down 15% and two tenths of a point from the June 27th episode, which was the last non-holiday episode.

— WWE has posted a teaser photo on Instagram for tonight’s RAW – with a mention of Sting’s cryptic “7.14.14” date.

While this is hardly a confirmation of anything, WWE rarely includes the date of the show in their RAW preview photos on Instagram. The fact that they formatted it the same way as Sting’s tweet has a lot of people buzzing that Sting will in fact have some sort of presence on tonight’s show, most likely a pre-recorded promo video.
