— When Hulk Hogan returns on RAW next week in Portland, OR, it’ll be his first appearance in the city since his November 14th, 1991 match against Ric Flair. With that being said, WWE is expecting Hogan to receive a major reaction from the live crowd.
— As noted earlier, Mark Yeaton was released from his WWE contract this week. Yeaton worked as a timekeeper and in the production team and had been with the company for decades. The fact that he was released is being viewed as a sign that the company’s budget cuts could affect anyone and that “no one is safe.”
— Here are some recent WWE attendance figures:
* August 2nd – Lubbock, TX – 5,400 fans
* August 3rd – San Antonio, TX – 4,000 fans
* August 4th – Austin, TX – 10,000 fans for RAW
