Triple H re-tweeting WWE’s tweets regarding Alberto Del Rio is apparently not part of an angle. Numerous sources say the incident at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings really happened and Del Rio is legitimately gone from the company.
WWE is extremely angry at how things played out and that’s the reason for the tweets and the WWE.com top story. They simply believe the Social Media managers story over Del Rio’s claims. Del Rio’s story is that he slapped the guy after racist remarks were made in catering. The WWE Social Media manager denies that happened and says Del Rio became irate after a vignette was taped earlier in the day.
It’s basically a case of who do you believe? With Del Rio’s past (several fights including one with Sin Cara, his backstage attitude and ego, etc.), the company is going with the Social Media manager. Del Rio has not tweeted since his WWE release.
As previously reported, TNA officials are very interested in Alberto Del Rio and contacted him less than two hours after WWE confirmed that he was fired for “unprofessional conduct and an altercation with a WWE employee.” AAA in Mexico is also very interested in him.
Stay tuned as we hear more.
