UPDATED: Monday’s WWE RAW drew a 2.88 (2.9) cable rating, up 1% from last week’s 2.84 and even with the rating from two weeks ago. They have to be thrilled with that number considering the season premieres of many shows as well as two NFL games on ESPN.
ORIGINAL: WWE has to be happy at Raw’s numbers today, as they went up in the face of Monday Night Football. The show drew 3.99 million viewers and a 1.43 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those are up 2% and 8% respectively from 3.92 million and a 1.43 demo rating last week. While the numbers aren’t a huge increase, the rating traditionally drops when football comes in as they pull from the same demographics, so it has to be viewed as a success for the company.
The household rating will be available later.
