Backstage Update – NXT Stars In The Royal Rumble Match?, More

— According to sources, there was a lot of talk last night at the RAW tapings regarding the Royal Rumble. Word is that WWE could be setting aside one or two Rumble spots for NXT talents. No names have been confirmed for those spots at this time.

— On Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, which was both the Royal Rumble “go-home” show and the “RAW Reunion” special, the “expert panel” for this Sunday’s pay-per-view was announced. Hosting the official Royal Rumble “Kickoff Show” this Sunday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be Renee Young, Byron Saxton, Corey Graves and Booker T.

— As noted earlier here on the website, a new stipulation was added to Daniel Bryan’s match with Kane on this week’s SmackDown. In addition to D-Bryan losing his slot in the Royal Rumble match if he loses, the match is now a No Disqualification match.

The show is taped tonight and will air Thursday on SyFy.
