More Possible Royal Rumble **SPOILERS** – ECW Originals?

According to sources, it is unlikely that Sheamus or the ECW Originals will be in the Royal Rumble match. Sheamus is not scheduled to be in Philadelphia and Rob Van Dam is believed to be the only ECW name bring brought in.

The reason for the ECW move is that WWE officials don’t want some of the ECW guys receiving bigger reactions due to the Philly crowd than their regular Superstars. WWE executive Kevin Dunn is also not an ECW fan and doesn’t think it is important enough to pay tribute to in the Rumble.
