Ross & DiBiase Honored, Kong/Austin, Angelina Love’s Injury

— Tokyo Sports is reporting that Satoshi Kojima is announcing on Thursday at AJPW’s Korakuen Hall show that he is leaving All Japan to undergo elbow surgery. His last show will be on May 2. Kojima and Keiji Mutoh have long been associated.

— The Cauliflower Alley Club held a banquet last night, at which Jim Ross and Ted DiBiase were honored. Reports from the event say they both gave great speeches. Ross tweeted that he met Awesome Kong and thought she would be great for WWE. Kong tweeted that she met her idol, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin (a fan of TNA) told her he knew who she was, which made her day.

— Angelina Love’s partial biceps tear torn elbow ligament at the iMPACT! tapings were caused by getting her arm caught in Tara’s knee brace. Love was set to face the also-injured Daffney at a TNA house show tonight, but that match will be replaced by ODB vs. Tara.
