They were discussing Democratic Senate hopeful Robert Blumenthal’s Vietnam war faux pas (where he stated he served in the war but it was uncovered that he didn’t). She said her campaign did not break the story. She also said she was looking forward to this weekend’s convention and hoped to be the Republican nominee for the Senate and she said that she had no idea who the Democrats were going to nominate. She said that the people of Connecticut had a chance to make history and elect a Republican Senator.
