Backstage Battleground News – Low Ticket Sales, No Divas Match

— There is no Divas title match set for WWE Battleground. WWE had been planning to have Nikki Bella defend against Paige but that was before the angle was shot with the NXT Divas on RAW.

— So far, only 10,500 tickets have been sold for WWE Battleground. The venue holds 14,600 seats so there’s still quite a number available with the event happening on Sunday. This is the weakest advance for a regular WWE PPV this year, not counting Elimination Chamber which started as a live event and not a PPV.
