UPDATE x 2: As previously reported, WWE Divas Paige and Alicia Fox got into an altercation with a drunk customer at a Baltimore, Maryland restaurant last Sunday (Sept. 6). The incident reportedly ended with all three being thrown out of the restaurant. However, a report by Bryan Alvarez said the incident was a set-up for the Total Divas reality show.
Paige appeared at the Pittsburgh Wizard World Comic-Con event this weekend, and she reportedly had an explanation of the incident during her Q&A session. According to Paige, the Total Divas cameras were not present during the altercation, and it was not filmed for the reality show.
Paige explained that she and Fox were singing karaoke, and the fan in question was filming them sing with her cell phone. When they asked the woman to not film them, she became angry and threw her drink in their direction. Management then got involved to calm the angry fan, but Paige and Fox decided to leave on their own, and they were not thrown out. At least, that’s how it happened according to Paige.
We shall see if any video footage of the incident airs on WWE Total Divas and then we’ll know for sure whether it was scripted or not.
For what it’s worth, we’ve obtained a fan-sent in video that you can see by clicking hwew. Do you think it was scripted?
