WWE-NBC Special Confirmed + A Huge WWE-Comic-Con Update

— On August 7th at 9PM ET, NBC will air WrestleMania XXVI: The World Television Premiere. This will be like last year’s special, which was a music video-themed WrestleMania highlights show.

— Mattel is displaying action figures that will be a part of the WWE Legends Line at Comic-Con. Featured are Kevin Von Erich, Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty as the Rockers, Nikolai Volkoff and Iron Sheik, The Bushwhackers and Roddy Piper and Bob Orton.

— They have a set on display, which will be exclusive to Toys R Us, featuring five Rey Mysterio figures in different outfits, including his ECW, WCW and WWE debut outfits.

— They are also showing debut action figures for Luke Gallows, Hurricane and Mike Knox. Hurricane and Mike Knox likely won’t make it to store shelves.

— Mattel has signings set with Kane, The Miz, John Morrison, Chris Masters, The Bellas, Eve Torres, and Melina.

— Ted DiBiase Sr. and Virgil will be signing autographs at Comic-Con.

— Jerry Lawler will be appearing for Titan Publishing, signing a special edition of the WWE Heroes Comic Book.

— Christopher Daniels is set to appear to promote the Headlocked comic. He will also be working with Jeff Katz’ American Original and GeekWeek.com projects.

— Steve Austin will be appearing, promoting The Expendables, and also will have a signing tomorrow at Anchor Bay Entertainment’s Booth for his movie The Stranger.
