Backstage Update – NWA Officials Meet With SpikeTV

According to sources, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) President Bruce Tharpe recently met with Spike TV officials in New York City. Spike officials have stated that there is interest in bringing back pro wrestling, but that nothing is on the table right now. This is what they told Tharpe at his meeting.

Spike also noted that they are trying to run new shows that have more appeal to women than pro wrestling. Tharpe is currently looking at other options for television.
