— The July 23rd edition of Lucha Libre USA scored a 0.09 rating with 116,000 viewers.

— Time Warner Sports in Syracuse is airing WFX overload Friday nights at 9PM ET.

— WWE is also planning to send out 70,000 pieces of direct mail to promote SummerSlam. The mailing will have a bar code that can be scanned or captured. If you send this back to WWE, a video montage promoting SummerSlam will be sent back to the person. Also, by responding, the person will be entered into a contest to win the SummerSlam Complete Anthology on DVD. The goal is to get people excited about SummerSlam and hopefully get them to order the show.

— WWE will tape tonight’s NXT and Friday’s SmackDown! tonight from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Tonight’s NXT will see another rookie eliminated. Announced for SmackDown! is a Women’s title match between Tiffany and Layla. Kane vs. Rey Mysterio in a steel cage match is being advertised locally as the dark match main event.
