Wednesday it was reported that Tampa police have identified the person they say stole Hulk Hogan’s sex tape with Heather Clem. They named Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd as the person who stole it along with several other sex tape DVDs from Bubba “the Love Sponge” Clem’s office.
Many wondered if Bubba The Love Sponge would face any legal issues due to this, and that appears to be a no. 10 Investigates reports that Hillsborough State Attorney Mark Ober will not be pressing charges against Bubba, due to the fact that the office does not think they have enough evidence to score a conviction. However, John Trevena, a well known criminal defense attorney, doesn’t understand why the case is not moving forward…
“I’m at a loss to explain this one. The documents are very clear, the evidence seemed to be very very clear and the elements of the crime seem to be fulfilled. I find it inexplicable that they wouldn’t want to pursue that.”
