In an interview with WhatCulture, Kurt Angle spoke about his best friends in WWE and more. Here are highlights:

* He once again said that he would like his retirement match to be against Daniel Bryan. He said he doesn’t think that WWE had any idea Bryan would be as popular as he is.

* He knows he’s putting his health at risk when he wrestles. He said he’s been 100% healthy outside of the neck tumor earlier this year. He added: “I don’t have to jump off of a cage anymore.”

* He can still do the things he did when he was 32. He added he doesn’t want to be out for months at a time.

* His favorite moments have been traveling overseas, because you get to know more about the people you work with from a personal standpoint.

* His best friends in wrestling are Brock Lesnar and Big Show.

* He said beating Lesnar in Japan was a highlight of his career. He added that Lesnar chose to lose to Angle and wouldn’t drop the title to anyone.

* Angle knew John Cena would be good. He said AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan are the best workers in the world. He thought Seth Rollins was ready to take Cena’s spot on the card. He also thinks EC3 will be a big player.
