Here are a pair of reports from yesterday’s SummerSlam Axxess event, courtesy PWI. First from Migs Fernandez:
I just got from WWE SummerSlam Axxess Event (session 1: 11-3pm) here in L.A. live in Los Angeles, California meeting WWE Superstars: Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, The Nexus Members (Gabriel, Sheffield & Otunga), MVP, The Hart Dynasty, Vickie Guerrero & more.
We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and the place was jam packed with WWE fans all over the place. There are two lines, VIP and Regular. The VIP stars that were signing were Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, and others.
The Gates/Barricades opened up around 11 a.m., as promised, and the interactive events set forth.
We went straight ahead for the autograph signing by Slim Jim, with WWE Champion Sheamus. As WWE and its Superstars part, they do deserve a 5 star grade here as they accommodated most of the handicapped persons first in signing, before the wild LA fans. Thankfully everything went smoothly even though Sheamus keeps spraying sunscreen on his face every 5 minutes.
The Lines were pretty well long, stressful, tiring during the hot day here in sunny California but all of the WWE Superstars were very friendly and cordial. They signed anything and were down to earth professionals, especially WWE Champion Sheamus, The Nexus and Drew McIntyre.
Also, Howard Finkel did an interview in the ring with Chris Jericho, The Bellas and they had live WWE matches but a lot of people were pretty busy piling up the lines in Meet & Greet Signings and photo ops.
And a second one from Chris Ellen:
At the Axxess VIP Signing, HHH showed up.
It was safe to say that anyone who had purchased VIP Tickets knew that HHH would be one of the guests. He looked in great shape. Many people asked him if he would be the seventh man for team WWE. He just kept winking his eye and said, “Who Knows”.
From a quick conversation with him he said he was in good spirits and quick to return to the ring. Hopefully he’s right.
