Sheamus Promotes SummerSlam, SD!, Mysterio, & More

— Sheamus was on “The Big App Show” on Friday to hype both SummerSlam and WWE’s iPhone app. The show is a free iPhone app itself, hosted by former MTV personality Adam Curry. It includes revies and demonstrations of various apps. Sheamus referred to the WWE title as his “pride and joy” and said of Orton: “Fella doesn’t stand a chance. Look at the difference between me and him. Yeah, he’s the Viper, he’s deadly, but he ain’t no Celtic Warrior.”

— USA Today has picked up on the steroid story we reported earlier that named Kurt Angle and Hardcore Holly as customers of an illicit steroid ring. The story adds former Intercontinental champion Ken Shamrock to the list, as well as a host of MMA stars.

— A Japanese newspaper story on Yoshi Tatsu is available at http://search.japantimes.co.jp/, to help promote WWE’s upcoming Tokyo appearance. Tatsu talks about differences between Japan and WWE, his career, and about wanting to be world champion. He says right now his English is not good enough for that, and it won’t happen until he can speak to the fans.
