More On Bryan Danielson’s WWE Return, Melina-WWE

— Daniel Bryan was trending worldwide on Twitter (#1) through the early morning hours today, after making his WWE return at last night’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.

— As noted late last night here on the website, WWE did the best they could in keeping Bryan’s return a surprise. Several people who were backstage at SummerSlam all afternoon yesterday had no idea Bryan was even there until he showed up. The first word about Bryan being there leaked around 8pm EST. WWE.com then spoiled his return about an hour before he took part in the main event. The funny thing is that once the article went live on WWE.com it was never taken down. So all that stuff about trying to keep it a secret backstage was worthless as WWE.com staff screwed it all up. Someone there is going to be in some deep shit today.

— WWE has added Bryan back on the RAW roster and he’s back full-time now. By the way, he was added before he took part in the main event. Ooops. As noted last night, he’ll work all his scheduled indy dates.

— Melina is the new WWE Divas Champion after defeating Alicia Fox at last night’s pay-per-view.
