— Nightmare Ted Allen, who also wrestled under a mask as The Nightmare, has passed away. A star in the mid-Atlantic area in his own right, he also trained the likes of Arn Anderson, Scotty Riggs, Ranger Ross and the late Big Bossman. The cause of death is not yet known. Allen was 54 and was still active on the independent scene in Georgia recently. He was also at the NWA Legends Fanfest a few weeks back.
