According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has offered contracts to several of the talent involved in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. The site reports that offers have been extended to TJ Perkins, Cedric Alexander, Noam Dar and Akira Tozawa and that if everything goes well, they will report full-time to the company in September or October. Zack Sabre, Jr. was also offered a contract but was unable to sign due to “a personal matter,” but he is expected to take a deal sometime next year.
The news comes after reports that Johnny Gargano and Tommasso Ciampa had signed full-time deals with the company and will report after finishing up their indie commitments. Kota Ibushi and Gran Metallik were said to have signed deals, although Ibushi has said in an interview that he hasn’t officially signed yet.
