As previously reported, Lucha Underground recently sent a cease and desist order to TNA because a referee in one of their matches (presumed to be Marty Elias), is currently under contract with Lucha Underground and may not appear on a competitor’s program. The match in question was shot in Mexico and was The Hardys vs. Super Crazy and Psicosis.
It aired last night and as expected, TNA blurred out the referee for the entire match. The whole segment had a pretty surreal feel to it though, so the blurred ref sort of just added to that.
