— Matt Hardy has been pulled from Saturday’s SmackDown live event at Madison Square Garden, according to the venue’s official website. He was scheduled to take part in a three-way bout against Christian and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler will now be defending his title in a singles match against Kofi Kingston.
Meanwhile, Raw Superstar Mark Henry has been added to the show. He will be competing against Jack Swagger in a Raw vs. SmackDown Match.
The event is being advertised as “Bret Hart Appreciation Night” due to it being Hart’s first appearance at Madison Square Garden in thirteen years. “The Hitman” will be teaming up with David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd to take on three members of Nexus in a Six Man Tag Team Match. Before the show, the WWE Hall of Famer will be taking part in a book signing at the Borders book store located at the MSG complex. The signing begins at 4:00 p.m.
— As noted Friday here on the website, RAW Superstar David Otunga and Jennifer Hudson are getting married later this year in Chicago, Illinois, according to various celebrity news websites. The Oscar award winning singer/actress has said that when they tie the knot, they will be moving back to the Windy City. The couple moved to Tampa, Florida in 2008 in order to allow Otunga to pursue a career with World Wrestling Entertainment.
