Backstage Update: Matt Hardy, Chris Jericho, & WWE

Chris Jericho’s ‘farewell’ from WWE is not official yet. Neither side has really given a straight answer. It’s possible he may be taking some time off for the time being and will return at a later date. If he’s not on RAW tonight, he won’t be on until after the next PPV at the earliest since since they tape two shows tonight.

The Matt Hardy situation should be finalized by this week. According to one source, he was hoping to have a release finalized by today. We don’t have that confirmed though and are working on more details. Stay tuned.
