WWE to Hold Red Carpet Pre-Show for Mae Young Classic Finals
WWE announced they will be holding a live red carpet pre-show for the Mae Young Classic Finals this Tuesday on Facebook. Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon, Nikki Bella, and the cast of Netflix’s GLOW series were revealed to be some of the people making appearances during the pre-show.
In regards to Rousey, she is currently expected to be participating in several interviews with topics likely related to the rumored Four Horsewomen versus Four Horsewomen feud.
The pre-show itself will be hosted by Cathy Kelly at 6PM EST on Facebook Live while the Finals itself will start at 10PM EST on the WWE Network.
Sasha Banks Likely to Miss Appearance at Mae Young Classic Finals
Of WWE’s Four Horsewomen, Sasha Banks is currently expected to not be making an appearance during the Finals due to RAW brand commitments. The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported the main reason is due to the RAW brand starting their tour of Australia on the same night as the Finals. Unless the WWE exempts her from the first night of the tour, she won’t be able to be in Las Vegas for the Mae Young Classic Finals show.
Current Rumors Regarding Possible WWE Plans for Ronda Rousey
WWE is currently rumored to be considering plans for at least two wrestling matches for Ronda Rousey, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The first match is rumored to be a Four Horsewomen versus Four Horsewomen match with the feud expected to be made official during the Mae Young Classic Finals. The other match is rumored to be a singles match possibly at Wrestlemania with either Stephanie McMahon or Charlotte as the leading choices for her opponent.
