— Ricky Steamboat is still recuperating from a capillary burst of the brain at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina. When the WWE Hall of Famer returns to work, he is expected to assume a role at Florida Championship Wrestling as a trainer.

— Last week, WWE pushed Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton as their first encounter in a singles match on Monday Night Raw. That is incorrect, as on the July 5, 2004 episode of Raw, Orton pinned Jericho following interference from Batista.

— CM Punk vs. The Undertaker will main event Friday’s LIVE Smackdown. Also scheduled to appear are John Cena and Nexus.
