— Northeast Wrestling announced on its Facebook page this morning that tonight’s scheduled match between Awesome Kong and Mickie James has been called off due to injury. “Awesome Kong contacted Northeast Wrestling at midnight last night notifying us that she will be unable to appear this evening due to a back injury,” the statement reads. “Northeast Wrestling would like to apologize as she promised us on Monday that would definitely be wrestling Mickie James tonight.” James will be still be wrestling on the card, but a replacement opponent has yet to be announced.
