— With all three debates now finished, Democratic nominee and favorite Richard Blumenthal increased his lead over Linda McMahon according to a new poll issued by the Quinnipiac University yesterday. 54% of the likely voters now support Blumenthal for Senate while 43% are in favor of Linda McMahon. A few weeks ago McMahon narrowed the lead to just three points with the majority of independent voters leaning towards the former WWE Chief Executive Officer. However now Blumenthal has a 5% lead among independent voters, taking what McMahon had last month. The hotly-contested election will be held next month. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)
