NXT UK’s Sam Gradwell Injured

Sam Gradwell, who is part of WWE’s NXT UK division, announced that he will be undergoing surgery on his ACL. He previously explained, “During my WWE physical this weekend, the doctors found a suspected re-injury or ‘loosening’ of my left ACL that was reconstructed in 2012.”

He last wrestled at the NXT UK tapings on July 28 and 29.

INJURY UPDATE

Unfortunately MRI results have come back and shown a complete, full-thickness re-tear of my ACL and will require reconstructive surgery.

Thanks to everybody who’s been in touch and thank you for the support.

The plan now is to get the surgery done, rehab like my life depends on it (it does), and get back to doing what I love, better than I’ve ever done it before.
