MLW Founder Court Bauer Says “Sketchy” WWE Is Attempting to Raid MLW Talent

Major League Wrestling founder Court Bauer said on Twitter today that WWE has made “two attempted raids in two days” before tonight’s big live MLW show (8 PM ET on beIN Sports), but both wrestlers turned WWE down.

Earlier this week, Bauer also said that he had Mexican luchadores Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja flown in for MLW shows in the spring, but they “blew off pre tapes to meet across town with WWE Talent Relations and negotiate deals.” Garza Jr. ended up signing a WWE contract in April.

Not when the company actively arranges the meeting fully knowing why the talent is in town and on my dime. That's the definition of sketchy. If WWE wants to engage them, fly them in and do it on their $.
