Rusev Comments on the Origin of Rusev Day
Planeta Wrestling held a recent interview with Rusev and one of the topics discussed included the origin of Rusev Day and his original plans for the gimmick.
“It was supposed to be a one off, just a celebration after I beat Randy Orton and that was it. A few weeks after I was going “Rusev Day, Rusev Day” and people really started digging it, even in the backstage with the New Day and with Aiden signing “Rusev Day” helped. People just got it and loved the whole concept and it became really big.”
New WWE Chronicle Episode to Air on the WWE Network Following NXT TakeOver: Phoenix
WWE released a trailer for a new episode of their WWE Chronicle series on the WWE Network. This episode focuses on Paige and will air following the end of tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event.
Official synopsis:
“Paige was born to be a WWE Superstar. She was the first NXT Women’s Champion and captured the Divas Championship in her WWE debut. In June 2016, though, the raven-haired Superstar was sidelined for 17 months. Follow the two-time Divas Champion from her unexpected November 2017 return to the heartbreaking revelation that she can never compete again.”

ROH announced that Zack Sabre Jr. will be making appearances for the company at their ROH TV tapings in Lakeland, Florida on February 9th and their Bound for Honor 2019 event in Miami, Florida on February 10th.
