More On The iMPACT! Rating, Cole Takes Shot At Vince, Linda

— Have a great weekend everyone. It’s a busy one as we’ve got the UFC 122: Marquardt vs. Okami event tomorrow (Saturday). The show takes places from the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. This event will air via tape delay on SpikeTV. It’s an OK card but it’s free so who cares! We have no WWE or TNA PPVs on Sunday. We’ll then have the huge three-hour ‘Old-School’ RAW on Monday from Hershey, PA. That is also the go-home edition of RAW before Survivor Series next Sunday. There is also another TNA iMPACT! taping from Orlando, FL on Monday. Tuesday has the WWE NXT and SmackDown! tapings in Richmond, VA and another TNA iMPACT! taping in Orlando. We’ll be here all weekend with all the latest backstage news and rumors. Check back in often for the latest! Also, I re-launched my ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com website Wednesday night with a brand new design. Give it a look and hopefully you’ll enjoy it! It’s got loads of new features. Again guys, have a great weekend and thanks for your support of the website!!

— The latest estimates put TNA iMPACT! at a 1.15 – 1.2 cable rating, with an average of 1.63 million viewers throughout the show. This is the highest amount of viewers since the iMPACT! after Bound for Glory. The ratings are just a tad bit delayed due to the holiday.

— Michael Cole took a shot at Vince McMahon’s commentary skills both on WWE NXT and Superstars. Cole wondered if Vince would do commentary at the Old School RAW and Josh Matthews noted Vince’s coma. Cole replied, “Oh well then, his commentary won’t be any worse than it was 20 years ago.”

— The AP has an interview with Linda McMahon about her Senate campaign and the “Stand Up For WWE” campaign. In it she says she doesn’t regret spending $50 million on the campaign and that she would make a decision on a second bid after the first of the year. She also said she’s not going back to WWE and that the company was unfairly attacked by the media. You can check it out at Google.com on the AP news feed.
