That’s the lowest number in SmackDown Live history, below the previous low of 1,841,000 on February 5, 2019, when it was going against the US State of the Union address.
SmackDown was #7 on cable for the night in the 18-49 demographic. It was going against a Celtics vs. Bucks NBA playoff game on TNT, which drew 4,404,000 viewers.
SmackDown drew a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 demographic, meaning 0.54% of total people that age watched the show.
This time last year, the May 1, 2018 episode of SmackDown Live drew 2,436,000 viewers. The May 3, 2017 episode drew 2,300,000 viewers.
Monday’s Raw drew an average of 2,158,000 viewers, which was the third lowest in Raw history.
