George A. Barrios, who is WWE’s Chief Financial Officer is slated to participate in the ROTH 21st Annual OC Growth Stock Conference, on Tuesday, February 17th, in Dana Point, CA. There will be a live audio broadcast of his presentation at http://corporate.wwe.com/investors at 11AM ET on the 17th.

Scheduled for the Class of 2009 WWE Hall of Fame this year in Houston, TX on April 4 are Steve Austin, Bill Watts, Ricky Steamboat, Terry and Dory Funk Jr. and the Von Erich’s. Jim Ross is slated to induct Watts, while Ric Flair is slated to induct Steamboat. No word on who will be inducting Austin, the Funk’s and Von Erich’s as of right now.

WWE.com is touting the rating for this past Tuesday’s edition of ECW on Sci Fi noting the show did a 1.3 cable rating with more than 1.5 million viewers. The article notes: “The WWE Universe accounted for more of Tuesday night’s TV-watchers than NCAA basketball fans, Ultimate Fighting Champion loyalists and even Daily Show spectators.” Ultimate Fighting Champion huh? Sounds like another example of someone in WWE once again not understanding the UFC or MMA in general.
