WWE: Rusev Hidden, Upside Down Graphics, Austin Show Ratings

Rusev returned to WWE for the first time since June last night on Raw.

According to PWInsider, to keep his return as secretive as possible, WWE didn’t have him fly in to to Raw and instead had him drive from Nashville, TN, where he lives, to Knoxville, where Raw was, which is about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive.

WWE also hid him until right before he came out.

Unfortunately, his return got a very underwhelming reaction from the crowd because he was introduced as Maria Kanellis’s baby’s father.

Upside Down Graphics

After Bray Wyatt’s first segment on Raw last night, WWE showed graphics for upcoming matches, but they were all upside down. Some thought this was a mistake, but it was done on purpose following the Firefly Fun House segment, according to Dave Meltzer.

Straight Up Steve Austin Ratings

Monday’s episode of “Straight Up Steve Austin” on USA Network after Raw drew 879,000 viewers, up from 1,097,000 the week before. The episode featured Dale Earnhardt Jr.
