“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 26 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
The match was made official tonight on SmackDown when Bryan won a #1 contender triple threat match against The Miz and King Corbin, which turned into a singles match against just The Miz when Corbin fought with Roman Reigns to the backstage area.
Other than the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, this is the first match that has been officially announced for the Royal Rumble PPV.
