Will Ospreay is currently rumored to have suffered a possible ankle injury at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 event held earlier today.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated to him that the current belief within the company is that Ospreay suffered a potential broken heel during his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match against Hiromu Takahashi. It was reported that NJPW officials believe Ospreay suffered the injury while performing his Sasuke Special move to Takahashi.
Johnson also reported that the severity of his injury has not been officially confirmed as of the time of his report.
