New Japan Pro Wrestling announced their full schedule of major events for 2020 during the the second night of their Wrestle Kingdom 14 event held earlier today in Tokyo, Japan.
The biggest announcement involved this year’s G1 Climax tournament taking place from September to October instead of the usual July to August time period due to the upcoming Summer Olympic Games taking place in Tokyo and several of the usual venues for G1 shows being unavailable to NJPW during that time.

- February 1st & 2nd – The New Beginning in Sapporo 2020 at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center in Sapporo, Japan
- February 9th – The New Beginning in Osaka 2020 at the Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka, Japan
- March 4th – 48th Anniversary Show at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan
- March 21st – New Japan Cup 2020 Finals at the Aore Nagaoka in Niigata, Japan
- March 31st – Sakura Genesis 2020 at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan
- April 29th – Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni at the Kagoshima Arena in Kagoshima, Japan
- May 3rd & 4th – Wrestling Dontaku 2020 at the Fukuoka International Center in Fukuoka, Japan
