Rumor: Major League Wrestling in Talks with Cable Network Showtime for Television Deal

Major League Wrestling is rumored to be making a major announcement soon regarding a potential new television deal.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported earlier this month that MLW owner Court Bauer had been in Los Angeles several times in recent weeks for meetings with potential television and licensing partners. Johnson reported that these talks had progressed to the point that a major announcement is expected to be announced soon, which would potentially have a major positive impact on the company’s future.

WrestlingInc.com recently reported that cable network Showtime has shown recent interest in MLW and is rumored to have been in talks with the company regarding a potential television deal based on their sources. Showtime had been among the networks in talks with All Elite Wrestling last year for a potential television deal before losing out to TNT in the end.
