Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 PM ET on ABC – Seattle Dragons vs. DC Defenders – 3,302,000 viewers, 1.1 rating (18-49)
Saturday, Feb. 8 at 5 PM ET on FOX – LA Wildcats vs. Houston Roughnecks – 3,290,000 viewers, 1.1 rating (18-49)
Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2 PM ET on FOX – Tampa Bay Vipers vs. New York Guardians – 3,385,000 viewers, 1.0 rating (18-49)
Sunday, Feb. 9 at 5 PM ET on ESPN – St. Louis BattleHawks vs. Dallas Renegades – 2,495,000 viewers, 0.93 rating (18-49)
Again, for comparison, the original XFL drew 14 million viewers for its first game in 2001 on NBC, but ratings quickly and significantly tanked after that. The AAF, which folded last year without finishing its first season, drew 2.9 million viewers for its first game on CBS.
