AEW will be moving their Dynamite and Dark tapings from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville to an “undisclosed location” this week because of the coronavirus, according to Dave Meltzer.
Yesterday, the mayor of Jacksonville issued an executive order limiting hotel occupancy in the city to only “essential lodgers” like health care workers. That means that AEW wrestlers wouldn’t be able to use hotels in the city, making taping there more difficult.
The parking lot near Daily’s Place has also been set up as a major coronavirus testing center.
The new location is believed to be somewhere in the south east of the US, Meltzer says. AEW is keeping it private to prevent fans from gathering outside of the location.
AEW will be doing “a significant amount of taping” today and tomorrow for this week’s show as well as future shows, Meltzer added.
