AEW announced two new signings tonight: Ricky Starks and Abadon.
Ricky Starks
Starks is a former NWA World Television Champion, winning the title in a tournament in January.
He made his AEW debut tonight on Dynamite, answering Cody Rhodes’ TNT Championship open challenge, but coming up short in the match.
Thank you @starkmanjones for a great effort tonight. While he didn’t win the open challenge & the TNT Title, he opened a lot of eyes on #AEWDynamite. Thank you @CodyRhodes & Arn for nominating a great challenger; I was glad to sanction the match. Now: congrats Ricky you earned it pic.twitter.com/K9dTVRlv1I

Abadon
Abadon squashed Anna Jay on tonight’s Dynamite. She previously wrestled on the March 10 AEW Dark in a loss to Hikaru Shida.
Abadon primarily previously wrestled in Rocky Mountain Pro in Colorado, where she’s a two time Lockette (Women’s) Champion.
