Awesome Kong Backstage At RAW, Piper Suffers Injury

— I warned you guys ahead of time that it was going to get crazy busy and boy has it ever! This is wild today and our traffic is near WrestleMania levels. — As noted earlier, Awesome Kong was backstage at last night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Boston, but was not used. She is set to debut imminently. She is backstage at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence for tonight’s RAW. Kong at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. NICE!

— While his name has been rumored, Bobby Lashley is not booked for tonight’s iMPACT! tapings and has not signed a deal to come back to the company.

— “Rowdy” Roddy Piper suffered a black eye at the hands of Terry Funk during a battle royal at WrestleReunion 5 in Los Angeles.
