WrestleMania Main Event Revealed, Orton-Miz Feud, More

— It’s been absolutely freakin’ crazy w/ both traffic and news today. We’re at WrestleMania-like levels. I don’t expect things to slow down much on Tuesday with SD!/NXT and TNA iMPACT! tapings. We’ll also have post Royal Rumble and RAW news and rumors. We’re also set to get 20-30 inches of snow here in Albany, NY on Tuesday/Wednesday but we plan to be here as long as everything goes well. — Alberto Del Rio triumphed over 39 other competitors at last night’s Royal Rumble to earn the opportunity to headline WrestleMania XXVI in a World Championship Match of his choosing on April 4, 2011 in Atlanta. He announced this week on RAW that he will be going after the World Heavyweight Championship — currently held by Edge — at the event. That had been expected.

— The song used during the video promoting Randy Orton’s match against The Miz at the Royal Rumble is “Machine Gun Blues” by Social Distortion.

— William Regal beat NXT Rookie Johnny Curtis in a dark match prior to this week’s RAW taping in Providence, Rhode Island.

— Matches taped this week in Providence, Rhode Island for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars were:

* David Hart Smith and Yoshi Tatsu vs. Primo and Zack Ryder

* Melina vs. Tamina
